Happy May Day!
Happy May Day everyone. With the high school seniors having their classroom time, sports, extra curricular activities and possibly their graduation ceremony cut short, I decided to make a few gift bags for two of the seniors I know. It gave me a chance to practice sublimating and designing a frame on the Glowforge. I’ll be doing tutorials on some of these products when I get a chance but for now I just wanted to show off what I had sent them.
I also included some candy, snacks, and a letter to go along with the bags.
I designed the frames in Affinity design and photo and used the Glowforge to cut them out. These were cut from a piece of masonite that had a white front. I heat pressed some laminating plastic onto the fronts so I could sublimate on them.
I also made these 2020 toilet paper earrings for them (see my post on making them). The gift bag also included a face mask, fan/frisbee, socks, can koozie, and a sports towel. I’m hoping these gift bags will bring a smile to their faces and help with the stress they must be facing.
