Happy Mother’s Day!
For Mother’s Day I made this charm bracelet with all of my mother’s grandchildren on it. I’ll give a quick tutorial on how I made it. The blank was ordered from Sublimation Blanks and More.
The first step was to measure the blanks. They measured 11/16th of an inch.
In Affinity Design I made circles that were 3/4 of an inch round to give a little room for alignment.
The next step was to move the pictures into place and resize them. I was going to make a video of this quick process but my computer was acting up and didn’t want to run the screen capture program. Make sure to turn off your stroke around the circle before printing.
After printing cut out your pictures and tape the blank down using some high temp tape. *MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE FILM ON THE BLANK BEFORE DOING THIS! (Don’t be like me lol)
Set your heat press to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and timer to 30 seconds.
Place the blank on your heat press with the paper facing up as shown. I did these individually to make sure I had the settings right.
Once you’re all done sublimating the blanks let them cool then peel off the covering of the sticky material on the bracelet and align the pictures. That’s all there is to it to make a unique and beautiful gift!
